Jacqueline L. Giorgio

Jacqueline L. Giorgio  is a partner in our Bankruptcy, Workout and Restructuring Department.  Jackie practiced with the firm of Phillips Nizer LLP from 1992 to 2002 before becoming a partner at the boutique firm of Scarcella Rosen & Slome LLP concentrating in business reorganizations and creditor’s rights.  Jackie represents financial institutions, insurance companies and other institutions, in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings and out of court workouts including plan, preference, fraudulent conveyance, relief from stay and other bankruptcy related litigation. 

Jackie is a 1986 cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and a 1990 cum laude graduate of St. John’s University School of Law where she was an Associate Editor of the St. John’s Law Review and a St. Thomas More Scholar.  Ms. Giorgio is a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
