Greg S. Zucker

Greg S. Zucker is a partner in the litigation department of Westerman Ball Ederer Miller & Sharfstein, LLP (“Westerman Ball”).  He is responsible for handling all types of commercial and business disputes, and regularly practices in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute proceedings.  He has successfully represented Westerman Ball’s clients in litigations including, in connection with a 100 million dollar construction project, a partnership dispute over the development of a 65 acre parcel, a trades secret case involving national companies, and shareholder derivative and dissolution actions.

He co-authored “Divorcing Your Business Partner” (Long Island Magazine, June 1998), “Property Insurance May Cover Y2K Costs” (Long Island Magazine, October 1999), and “Despite ADR Consent, IP Cases End Up In Court” (The National Law Journal, October 20, 1997).  Together with Jeff Miller, Greg previously wrote a monthly column for The New York Law Journal analyzing court decisions affecting the business community.  Greg is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association, and is the Vice-Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Commercial Litigation Committee.  He lectures on several commercial issues, including real estate issues, the dissolution of businesses, and disputes between shareholders.  He is also an Officer of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Long Island.

Greg earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1997, where he served as a committee chairperson on the Moot Court Board.  He has interned for the United States Attorneys’ Office for the Eastern District of New York, the Manhattan County District Attorney’s Office, the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office and a Congressman.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1994, where he graduated cum laude and played for the varsity baseball team.
