David Gold, a Partner in the Firm's Corporate Department, has been featured in Long Island Business News "Who's Who in Corporate Law, Accounting and Commercial Real Estate" published on May 22.

Stuart S. Ball, the Co-Chairman of the firm's Real Estate Department, represented Blumenfeld Development Group in connection with the redevelopment of the Sports Plus facility in Lake Grove, New York, including lease transactions with Whole Foods Market, L.A. Fitness and Jared Jewelers. This project was awarded the "Top Commercial Redevelopment Project" by Long Island Business News among its 2009 Real Estate Awards for Deals of the Year.

William E. Vita, Esq. a partner in the litigation department, led a panel discussion at the recent Defense Research Institute Product Liability Conference. This national legal conference was attended by over seven hundred attorneys and risk management professionals. The topic of the panel discussion was "Managing Power Tool Litigation."

February 2009: Congratulations to the Iona College Undergraduate Mock Trial Team, which has earned the school's first ever qualification to the Easton, PA National Tournament, scheduled for March 13-15, 2009. Michael Gelfand, Esq., an attorney in the firm's Litigation Department, is one of the trial advocacy coaches for the team, which competes throughout the region in the name of Iona College.
