Alison Ladd is an Associate in the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Workout and Restructuring Department.  Alison’s practice focuses primarily on the representation of secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, liquidating trustees and debtors in complex corporate reorganizations, restructurings and liquidations.  Alison has extensive experience representing clients in many different industries, including retail, manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, and specialty chemicals.  Prior to joining the Firm, Alison was an associate at a Manhattan law firm where she represented clients in a broad array of bankruptcy matters.

Alison was recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for her bankruptcy and creditors’ rights work in 2015 - 2018.  Alison has also co-authored several articles in the area of creditors’ rights, including: The Role of the Committee in 363 Sales, The Review of Banking & Financial Services (April 2017) and A ‘Free and Clear’ Sale Order is Only as Good as the Notice it is Predicated Upon, TMA Journal of Corporate Renewal (October 2018).

Alison graduated on the Dean’s List from St. John’s University School of Law in 2009, where she was a staff member of the St John’s University Law Review.  Alison received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 2005.  

 
Alison is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
