Matthew Hickey is an associate in the Firm’s Real Estate Department, concentrating primarily on retail real estate leasing.  Matt has significant experience representing regional and national shopping center owners, developers, and commercial property owners in connection with their leasing of retail and commercial space.  Additionally, Matt represents tenants in connection with their office and retail leasing.

Matt received his B.A. degree in English from the St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, New York, where we was Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, and earned his law degree from New York Law School.  Matt is admitted to the New York State Bar.  Prior to attending law school, Matt was a key founding member of the Bloomberg Administration’s project team that developed and launched New York City’s 3-1-1 non-emergency call center. Matt also served as Legislative Counsel to the Small Business Committee at the New York City Council.
