Dennis Amore is a commercial litigation and bankruptcy attorney in the Firm’s Litigation Department. Dennis has broad litigation experience and represents individuals, financiers, investors, and businesses on a wide range of commercial issues in state and federal courts as well as in mediation and arbitration. Dennis has extensive experience in all phases of litigation from inception through conclusion, including motion practice, trials, and appellate advocacy.

 

Dennis approaches litigation in a direct manner that emphasizes his client’s needs and objectives. He has litigated matters in various jurisdictions and has represented multi-million-dollar businesses and financiers. 

 

Dennis represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial disputes and litigation involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts, employment, banking, commercial lending, creditor’s rights, foreclosure, real estate, securities, regulatory compliance, and class action suits. He has also represented clients in various bankruptcy matters, including adversary proceedings. 

 

Dennis is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey.  He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern, Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of New York and District of New Jersey, and the Second Circuit. He has also been admitted to practice in multiple courts outside of New York via pro hac vice admission.

 

Dennis has been selected to the Super Lawyers New York Rising Stars list from 2020-2022. He has also prepared articles on the topics of financial services and commercial litigation.

 

Dennis earned his law degree from Touro Law School in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University at Albany.
