LEGAL ASSISTANTS NEEDED:
Experienced Bankruptcy Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in a busy law firm environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with bankruptcy procedures and filings.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents
- E-filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (CM/ECF)
- Managing deadlines and court calendars
- Communicating with clients, trustees, and courts
- Maintaining electronic and physical case files
- Assisting attorneys with document and case preparation
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a bankruptcy legal assistant preferred
- Proficiency with CM/ECF and bankruptcy software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadline

Experienced Legal Assistant – Commercial Litigation
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Secretary to support multiple attorneys in our busy Uniondale office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sophisticated commercial litigation materials in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, revising, and comparing commercial litigation documents and employee manuals
- Preparing documents for electronic court filing, including:
- Tables of authority
- Indexes
- Hyperlinking and formatting
- Working extensively with PDF files, including redaction and document management
- Using Excel for data entry, table creation, and data comparison
- Assembling binders, manuals, and similar materials
- Profiling and maintaining electronic client files
- Entering attorney time for billing purposes
- Managing court deadlines and internal calendars
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a legal secretary required
- Strong commercial litigation document skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and communication skills

ATTORNEY POSTINGS:
The Firm offers a competitive salary for these positions. Attorney are offered a business origination participation program, and are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. Other benefits include generous paid time off, the ability to work remotely two days each week (subject to performance and business needs), reimbursement for bar association dues and attorney registration fees, assistance with health insurance with access to dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, and 401(k) plan with profit sharing.
CORPORATE ATTORNEY:
- Senior Corporate/M&A Associate. Requirements would be at least 8 years of experience and the ability to lead and manage transactions with minimal oversight and supervision. No book necessary. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
LITIGATION:
- Senior litigation attorneys 15+ years of seasoned experience in commercial litigation. No book necessary. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY:
- Mid to Senior level (5+ years): transactional attorney with lending/borrower side lender experience. Candidate should be someone who pursues their work with the utmost diligence, takes initiative, and works well in a collaborative environment. Strong writing skills are a must.
- Senior level attorney (15+): seasoned lawyer who has worked on complex commercial acquisition/disposition transactions as well as commercial financings. Should also have experience with drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements. Candidate should be someone who pursues their work with the utmost diligence, takes initiative, and works well in a collaborative environment. Strong writing skills is a must.
