Olivia R. Lockwood (f/k/a Porter) is an associate in the Firm’s Trusts, Estates and Fiduciary Litigation practice. She represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in a broad range of matters in Surrogate’s Court and New York State Supreme Court.

Olivia’s litigation experience extends to a broad variety of contested proceedings, including the prosecution and defense of contested probate proceedings, will and trust construction proceedings, contested fiduciary accounting proceedings, imprudent fiduciary investment cases, fiduciary negligence and malfeasance claims, contested guardianship proceedings, kinship proceedings, discovery and turnover proceedings, constructive trust claims, commercial and real estate disputes in which estates or trusts interests are implicated, elder financial exploitation cases and other disputes that relate to the affairs of a decedent or administration of an estate or trust. She also handles related commercial disputes, including contract claims and torts.

Olivia previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, where she prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases and gained significant courtroom experience. She began her legal career as a judicial intern to the Hon. Joanna Seybert in the Eastern District of New York.
