Ryan M. Capone

Ryan M. Capone is an associate and a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.  Ryan concentrates his practice on complex commercial cases and enjoys researching and analyzing actions concerning breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and shareholder disputes.

 

During law school, Ryan worked for a litigation boutique firm in Wilmington, Delaware preparing arguments for trial and conducting legal research for defense strategies in billion-dollar cases.

 

After law school, Ryan clerked for the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division serving all five judges in the division.  There, he focused exclusively on complex commercial litigation, analyzing and resolving motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and drafting post-trial opinions. 

 

Ryan earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.  At Washington and Lee, Ryan participated in moot court.  During the fall of his 3L year, Ryan externed for Vice Chancellor Fioravanti in the Delaware Court of Chancery. 

 

Ryan is admitted to practice in New York State.
